Weekend Update…

My word, I am so glad for an extra day off this weekend!  Isn’t it just glorious to know that you get to sleep in tomorrow?!  Even better, our school email has been down since Friday at 5pm and won’t be up and running until Monday evening – so I’m under no obligation to even feel “connected” to school!  Love it.
Tonight, let’s go with random.  Sometimes you need a little of that in your life.
So, how was your Valentine’s Day?  Mine was low-key.  B knows my heart. And he knows that it won’t function without a little DC in my life; hence, the Tervis Tumbler of all Tervis Tumblers 🙂
Becks has recently become my little reader and writer.  Very emergent.  Very cute.  Very proud mama.  His face is supposedly painted yellow to look like a dangerous lion.  We’re going with it.
My PC finally died.  Sadface.  And I finally decided to cross over.  To the Mac side.  I’ll wait while you applaud.  It took very little convincing to pull the trigger.  Minimal virus risk really speaks to me and my frustration with Internet Explorer among other error messages.
I went to the Reading Recovery Conference!  It. Was. Awesome.  I have so much to share with y’all.  B and I decided to make it a mini-vaca, so we enjoyed our kid-free weekend in Columbus.  So fun!
That’s all I got!  I have a few things on the agenda for the coming week(s), including…
–  The Wizard of Oz

Conference Stuff

–  Narrative Writing for K-2

–  Parts of Speech Centers {Coming Soon!}
Enjoy your extended weekend, friends 🙂
