Description

This is a week long collection of activities to teach descriptive writing using Pop Rocks candy! There are also opportunities to discuss adjectives and similes, too! It is intended to be used as a supplement to your current ELA curriculum, and would make for great writing focus lessons for Daily 5.

The lessons are adaptable for grades K-5.

Please note, you will need to purchase enough Pop Rocks candy to issue one package to each student in your class. I bought mine 3 for $1 at Kroger.
