What is this resource?
This ONE digital center/activities Google Classrooms™ and Seesaw™ to prepare students for creating and solving number sentences. Use this resource to practice skills and supplement and support whatever curriculum you use in your classroom. (You can purchase a bundle of digital activities, including this one, and save $$$$$ HERE).

It’s perfect for preschoolers, kindergarteners, homeschool, distance learning, and beginning of the year kindergarten or remediation in first grade. It would also work well for independent work, home learning, non-traditional instruction (NTI), small group work, special education. intervention and RTI.

What is included?
1 Digital MATH resources that focuses on counting a quantity of objects (to ten) and placing the correct numerals (addends) into the number sentence. Students will count objects altogether. This is not in equation format, but serves to prepare students for that.

What standards are addressed?

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.OA.A.3
Decompose numbers less than or equal to 10 into pairs in more than one way, e.g., by using objects or drawings, and record each decomposition by a drawing or equation (e.g., 5 = 2 + 3 and 5 = 4 + 1).

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.OA.A.5
Fluently add and subtract within 5.

Who created this resource?
Abby Mullins, also known as Babbling Abby, is a former kindergarten and first grade teacher who most recently was an interventionist in a Title I school.
