Bless your teacher heart! I LOVE this! The lack of gratitude is real and very much an accepted part of our profession however what is a sour pill to swallow is the lack of respect that we deal with from not only parents, but the littles now AND coworkers and other community members. I am flabbergasted! I have spent the last two weeks of my much deserved winter break recuperating from my most difficult (21st) year in the profession. I have spent so many days and nights crying over the sad state of affairs this year that I am questioning my ability to endure the four more years to make it to full retirement as a single woman. I know that I can because I have the faith in God who placed me here and hand selected these children who I know are in my care for a reason. So it is with much thanks and gratitude for you sweet sister for sharing your gifts with your colleagues and creating these tools that make our jobs easier and more fun and engaging on those days that can be rough otherwise. And than you for the reminders to be grateful in even those small things…Bless You!

Thank you so much, Kelly, for taking the time to write such a nice comment 🙂 I am so sorry you are having a hard time in the classroom this year. I don’t think you’re alone. The teaching profession has become more challenging every year. I pray God grants you the endurance to push on, friend! Much love <3
