I love a good Sunday.
A sermon at church (that I semi-watched from the lobby because Faith is quite a chatterbox these days and cannot stay in the nursery just yet). A few errands run (lots more shelves for the basement). A new microwave (the dang one in our rental property broke). And, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince on the DVR while I lesson plan (because it’s all we watch anymore – the whole family has gone Potter).
The only thing that would make it a touch better would be if I had remembered to thaw out the roast overnight so it could be stewing in the crock pot right now. Instead, it’s solid as a rock in the freezer and I’m trying to figure out how not to incorporate eggs into dinner. #whole30probs
Today is also Orphan Sunday. A day where we, as the body of Christ, recognize God’s call for us to have a heart for the many orphaned children around the world. Naturally, this calling is near and dear to my heart, and one that I want to share with you through posts over the next month.
Adoption has definitely changed my life – and my heart – for the better.
