St. Patrick’s Day Math and ELA Activities
It’s always fun during the month of March to have themed activities in the classroom. You can easily switch out your math and literacy centers for St. Patrick’s Day fun. Here are the different themed centers I used in my classroom:
Math Center Activities
What’s the Rule?
Shamrockin’ Number Recognition (30-50)
Pot O’Gold Graphing
Blarney! (make 17 or not equation sort)
Literacy Center Activities
Leprechaun Language (noun, verb, adjective sort)
St. Patrick’s Day Spellers (inventive spelling)

Color Observation Activity
If you really want to impress your students, you have to try this food coloring observation activity. Your students will be so impressed when you become a color mixologist and all the colors of the rainbow magically appear before them. You can find the printable below here.
St. Patrick’s Day Book Recommendations
I love stocking the classroom library with books that share our theme. There are so many fun ones for St. Patrick’s Day. Read these books for your morning read-aloud and then add them to your bookshelf or reading center. They will be in high demand for sure! I have companion packs that cover a variety of ELA standards, too! (The links below are affiliate links, so I will receive a small commission if you choose to make a purchase.
