Many Colored Things: Teaching Colors :)

So, I’m feeling very inspired by colors this week, so let’s roll with that!
There are a bazillion awesome resources for teaching colors.  Seriously, I found so many great ones!
The first one is this awesome video by They Might Be Giants.  It’s called Roy G. Biv and has a cute – and catchy – tune to accompany it.  It was recommended to me by our art teacher and They Might Be Giants has a whole collection of educational songs.  Love!

Of course, you can’t go wrong teaching colors with Pete!  We love Pete the Cat and my students did, too!  Deanna has a great companion pack, Colorful Cats, that could be used with this book.

And, lastly, here’sone of  my favorite colored things…
Don’t forget to check out my resource pack, Color Me Kindergarten, on sale through tonight 🙂
