Home Printer
So, a printer is NOT a necessity for distance learning or homeschooling, but I receive so many questions about it! Since I work from home, a solid printer is definitely a worthy investment.
And, let me tell you: I love my printer. It’s an HP Officejet Pro 8610. However, it is an older model that is no longer made. I’ve had it for around 4 or 5 years and, truly, that’s the longest I’ve ever owned a printer. Ever! I use it regularly, multiple times a week.
The colors are vibrant and the printing is smooth. And, I love being able to print wirelessly. However, the best part is that you can register it with HP Instant Ink and they’ll ship you new ink before you ever run out! GAME CHANGER.
Even though mine is no longer available, there is a newer model that has great reviews on Amazon. It has all the same features as mine, and the price point is decent.

Playdoh
You cannot go wrong with playdoh! I know many parents don’t like for their children to play with it because it can be a pain to clean up, but kids LOVE it! It’s so great for building up hand muscles and fine motor skills. It’s also great for free play and creativity. Literally, no educational purpose necessary – just squish and play!
