Back to Kindergarten!

I was sitting poolside with my sister last month, when she received at text from one of her teacher friends, telling her to let me know that a part-time kindergarten position had opened up at the school where her kiddos attend.  (I had half-jokingly mentioned to this teacher at a jewelry party back in the spring that if this type of position opened to keep me in mind, doubting that I’d be lucky enough to find such an opening!)

I asked B if I should apply.  He was encouraging and said I really didn’t have anything to lose by emailing the principal and submitting my resume.  So, I did just that, interviewed and accepted the position last week, and signed my official contract yesterday!

Back to Kindergarten!

I AM SO EXCITED!

Right now, I’m waiting to get into my room.  It’s currently being used for summer programming, so I can’t access it until August 1st. (AH!) Being slightly Type-A about organization and decorating and rearranging, this make me slightly anxious. However, I’ve done a bit of prep at home, already received a nice shipment of goodies from Really Good Stuff and have been Pinteresting ALL THE THINGS to make this transition a little bit easier.

I also went to Half Price Books the day after I accepted the position and bought them out of Elephant and Piggie books. Because, of course. I also found a super cute read for those first few days of school. I’m going to do a Facebook Live post to share it, along with my other favorites for this time of the year! (So, be sure to like The Inspired Apple, so you know when it plays! Or not. FB Live seems pretty intimidating, so maybe just watch the rerun 😉 )

Lastly, I just wanted to let you know that I uploaded Volume Eight of Babbling Abby FontsIf you own the bundle, it’s been added.  If not, you can purchase this set individually, or as part of the 80 font bundle.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
