Dots of Fun: A Fine Motor Activity With Dots

Did you catch my post yesterday about working with my kiddos on preschool skills?  While I LOVE The Little Learner for it’s academic intent, I also keep a variety of hands-on activities going on at home everyday, too. I hope you’ll enjoy this fine motor activity, Dots of Fun, as much as we have!

I’m going to be honest: this activity developed out of the necessity to keep my kids occupied while I made dinner! Not only is it an easy way to keep them entertained, but they’re getting to work on fine motor skills at the same time! If you parent or teach kiddos in the 2- to 6-years-old age range, give it a try!

Dots of fun is a perfect fine motor activity for your preschoolers or to add to your morning work centers at school!

It’s super easy to assemble…

Make a several copies of the activity page and provide your kids with markers, mini erasers, marshmallows, daubers, q-tips and paint, crayons, stickers or whatever you have around! Then, their job is to fill in, cover, dot, or cross out the dots on the page. That’s it! Easy, engaging, an inexpensive FUN. This would make a great morning work activity in the classroom, too.
