I absolutely LOVE making anchor charts and posters for display in my classroom. They provide content-specific information, another source of environmental print, and, most importantly, allow students to engage with their learning in a meaningful way. They sure add a dose of pizazz to our walls or windows, too!
Sometimes, I have all the time in the world to create the outline for an anchor chart or poster before a lesson, but more often times than not, I find myself throwing one together ten minutes before students arrive and wondering if I really needed that latte on the way to school when I could’ve arrive fifteen minutes sooner. (Let’s be honest – at 7am that latte is a little more important than crafting a chart in advance, though 😉 )
Because time is important to ALL teachers, I created this handy set of templates that you simple print, cut, and paste onto chart paper for an easy-peasy anchor chart in a snap! Seriously, it takes NO time at all and the end result is a cute, kiddo-ready chart that’s just waiting for your and your students’ personal touch!
If you don’t want to print in color, NO WORRIES! You can always print onto colored copy paper OR simply color them yourself! Or, by golly, just use the black and white version! #lattemornings
I also give you the option to edit the templates yourself, along with an individual student response sheet that correlates to the class version!
It is my *hope* to create these for each month…but I make no guarantees because, well, that’s just the status of my life lately! And, since it’s mid-September, this set is ON SALE for the next 48 hours! Give them a try and see how much time and effort they save YOU!
Happy Tuesday to you!
