This unit was adapted from a unit taught by Dr. Katie Button and Elizabeth Isidro, educators from Texas Tech University.  I had the opportunity to attend their session at the Reading Recovery Conference in February.  I couldn’t wait to share out what I learned from them.  Seriously, life changing!  Much of what you see above is based on the resources they shared.  Love it!
