It’s hard to believe that the middle of January is upon us, and we will be celebrating the inspiring Martin Luther King, Jr. across the nation on Monday! Your students will love this Martin Luther King writing activity.
This class poster celebrates Martin Luther King, Jr. and the profound words he spoke decades ago that spurred change and continue to inspire our country to this very day. This poster has a matching set of writing templates, too!
You wouldn’t necessarily have to use the student speech bubbles on the poster and could easily omit them and still use the templates and then add factual information about MLK or even write his famous speech on the poster with your students!
The matching writing activity includes 3 differentiated versions to use depending on the needs of your students – lined, dotted lined, and blank.
In this Martin Luther King writing activity, students simply complete the prompt I have a dream that one day… with their personal dreams and aspirations.
Side note: Class posters are one of my absolute favorite things to make with my students. When time permits, I’ll draw something up in advance, and then allow my students to add their personal touch with information or content. However, sometimes I’m short on time or creativity, which is why I love these templates! Just print, cut, paste, and let your students finish it up!
This set can be purchased individually OR as part of a January-themed set of templates or the year-long Bundle.
