You will receive one PDF document that contains links to each set CVC word family activities, in addition to instructions for saving the activities in Seesaw™ or Google Slides™. All have sound bites and moveable pieces where appropriate.
There are 10 different interactive slides per word family:

2 – Word family title page
3 – Listen to and say the word family
4 – Listen to and say the names of words in the word family
5 – Making words with onset and rime
6 – Picture sort
7 – Highlight words in word family
8 – Real and nonsense word sort
9 – 12 – Making words in the word family

Short A Word Families: ab, ad, ag, am, an, ap, at
Short E Word Families: eg, en, et
Short I Word Families: id, ig, in, ip, it
Short O Word Families: ob, od, og, op, ot
Short U Word Families: ub, ug, um, un, ut
***In order to have enough pictures and words to work with, I chose word families that had at least four recognizable words/pictures.***
What Skills Are Addressed?
Demonstrate understanding of spoken words, syllables, and sounds (phonemes).
Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words.
When Are New Resources Added?
I will be adding the new activities between now and February 1, 2021. You can head to MY PURCHASES to access and re-download the file as new sets are added.
How Do I Save Activities to My Platform?
There are embedded links to each resource in the downloadable PDF. You will click on the activity you need and it will open in the platform of your choice. Then, you can make a copy of/save the activity. A guide for assigning these activities within Google Classroom™ or Seesaw™ is included.
