Oh, good morning to you!
It’s a beautiful, sunny day here in Kentucky and we are fully embracing this summer wonderfulness with cinnamon rolls and coffee this morning.
We went to Gatlinburg, TN last week with family, and it was a great first experience in traveling with two kids and assorted medical equipment. It was so nice to introduce Faith to our extended family. Also, leaving our home was kinda nice. Just being away from the norm, doing something different.
I picked up a few more things for our homeschool room this week, including a couple succulents and maybe a couch. Okay, definitely a couch. After scouring Craigslist for a few weeks and a couple (hundred) conversations with B about budgets and such, I decided to purchase the Raine model in Lucky Turquoise from Joybird. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Joybird so far! Not only did they offer me a 20% off coupon as a first time buyer (and I combined it with another $50 off from Retail Me Not), but they are super accessible (via email AND Instagram) and even sent use the sweetest thank-you not where the entire staff signed it for real! Free shipping, free returns, no sales tax, and a lifetime warranty were all bonuses to working with them, too! I can’t wait until it comes in.
I also picked up some sweet succulents at Kroger for under fifteen bucks.
For now, though, I’m left with a disaster of books and ideas. Trying to figure out what should go where.
Before I hop off today, you should know I’m having a little Facebook contest for a bundle of my latest resource packs! Follow me on Facebook at The Inspired Apple’s FB page. If you don’t win, the bundle is discounted to $12 (that’s EIGHT BUCKS off!) for now. Click below to check it out.
