The Science of April + Saying Hello!

Before we get to The Science of April, ARE YOU HERE FOR A FREEBIE?!  Scroll to the bottom of the post!

Hey, y’all!

I need to do a little bit of housekeeping.  If you tried to access The Inspired Apple this weekend, you might’ve noticed I was having some technical difficulties.  SORRY!  I spent almost all day Friday and Saturday trying to sort it all out, but at the end of the day all is well and it looks like I will remain on Wordpress (as opposed to switching back to Blogger – a story for another day!).

__________________________

I cannot even begin to tell you just how cah-razy the past month has been!  My baby sister was married last weekend, and with Becks, Faith, and I all in the wedding party, things were pretty crazy/stressful/fun and really adorable.

Slide1 They had a SEC tourney-themed rehearsal dinner, and while my new brother-in-law bleeds a shade of blue I just can’t stomach (cough…Duke…cough) in addition to UK blue, I guess we’ll keep him.  Sadly, the bridal party entered the reception to a UK-themed song just as UK was losing to IU. #boo #marchsaddness #bbnforever

I can’t wait to share some of the images of the kiddos from the actual wedding because they were absolutely precious.  I caught B’s eye as Faith was coming down the aisle and both of us were a mess of tears! So glad we have MANY years before she potentially walks down the aisle as a bride!

In other news, Cara and I spent last week wrapping up and posting our latest collaborative science unitThe Science of April! This one is a lot of fun and very timely with spring buzzing and blooming everywhere.

The Science of April

This pack is filled with goodies for teaching about oviparous animals, insects, plants, and Earth Day! We love offering you a variety of science activities to choose from for each theme, along with detailed lesson plans and extensions that make it easy to tie your theme into ELA and math.
