The Science of May!

For most of you, you’re likely nearing the end weeks of the school year, or preparing for a break sometime soon.  Time and energy may be running low as testing, end-of-the-year assessments, and fitting in the last of your curriculum becomes top priority.  Or maybe not!  Maybe the end of the year renews your teaching spirit as you enjoy the last few moments with your kiddos before sending them off to summer adventures and the next grade level.

Regardless of how you’re feeling this time of year, May is a very active month for most.  Which is why Cara and I really encourage you to check out The Science of May, the latest in our series of collaborative science units. It is the perfect addition to an already busy schedule because it is jam packed with activities that you can use to you benefit during the crazy!  Just pick and choose what will work best for you and your schedule, or go on with your bad self and do all four weeks worth of science themes! (Let’s be honest. My bad self would be picking and choosing and be totally okay with that!)

This month’s themes include Ocean Animals, Ocean Life, Dinosaurs, and Kitchen Chemistry!
