Practice Vocabulary by Discussing Student Costumes

Practice Vocabulary by Discussing Student Costumes

Start a great conversation with your students by talking about what they plan to dress up as for trick-or-treating. As they share their thoughts, make a list on the board that they can then use for writing activities and vocabulary work throughout the month.

The kids will find it super fun to incorporate their own costumes and personalities into their lessons for a few weeks. Invite the kids to share photos of themselves in previous years as well for inspiration.
